Born on 21st May 1915 [Newmarket 3b:804], the son of William Thomas and Rosa WILSON (née SWANN) of Exning.

In the 1939 register, at The Cemetery, Exning, were his father William T. WILSON [20-7-1884] cemetery custodian; his mother Rosa [21-1-1889; brothers Reginald T [31-10-1919] warehouseman and Albert E [12-10-1921] van driver. There is one closed record.

On enlistment he was a gardener


Died on the Burma Railway as a prisoner of the Japanese

Buried at Tasoa No.2, he was re-interred in Kanchanaburi on 1st March 1946.

He was a brother of Russell WILSON and a cousin of Bryan WILSON
